GRACE risk score is used to identify high-risk ACS patients at the time of presentation. This prognostic models have been developed to assess the risk for in-hospital and 6-month mortality for the entire spectrum of ACS (acute coronary syndrome) treated in general practice.
GRACE risk score was developed by a multivariable logistic regression model using 11.389 ACS patients. It is important to determine factors that are predictive of death across the entire spectrum of ACS, hence the risk stratification by GRACE score become a routine part in ACS patients investigation.
